Lippies
Basic
Lip blushing creates a subtle wash of color. This process can improve symmetry, add volume, and provide a more youthful appearance, resulting in a soft, natural look. Perfect for those wanting to enhance their lip color without the need for daily makeup, bring your favorite lipstick for me to color match, or go natural!
the works
Go beyond the basic… The Works allows you to choose two colors for a “lip liner” or ombre effect. Perfect for those wanting more defined outer edges or a bolder statement.
lip nuetralization
Primarily aimed at correcting unwanted undertones in the lips, such as gray, blue, or overly dark hues, often resulting from previous cosmetic procedures or natural pigmentation. This process uses specific pigment colors to counteract and neutralize these unwanted tones, resulting in a more balanced and natural lip color. Ideal for individuals seeking to enhance their lip appearance by addressing discoloration.
Before you book
-
18+ years old
Not currently pregnant or breastfeeding
No botox within 4 weeks of appointment
Not actively on Accutane or has been off for at least 6 months
Does not have blood thinning disorder or take any blood thinning medications
-
30 Days before:
No filler or injections in or around the area.
1 week before:
Do not tan or sun bathe, as sun burnt skin cannot be worked on. Please do not get any invasive facials with chemicals, laser treatments, or waxes on the face.
24 hours before:
**Please use a lip scrub to get rid of any dry spots, as tattooing over these may hinder my ability to saturate everything evenly. Dry skin is very difficult to tattoo over, penetrate with the machine.
No blood thinners (example: Aspirin or Ibuprofen). No alcohol or caffeine as these very much effect the blood as well.
Less bleeding=better results and easier healing.
Appointment Day:
No caffeine on appointment day! Please come with as little makeup as possible and use a lip scrub beforehand :)

When you arrive you will be provided with an initial topical lidocaine cream to numb the area.
Then we will work collaboratively on what look you are going for (natural, bold, neutralization, etc.). Reference pictures are super helpful, or bring your favorite lipsticks to color match!
Each service will be mapped out and pre drawn on so clients can see and approve design before starting as well as collaborating on color and swatching.
A secondary numbing will be used throughout the tattoo process.
The actual tattoo process for lips will typically take 2 hours.
Swelling is very normal, an ice bag will be provided for comfort at the end :)

What to avoid during healing:
No picking or peeling: Let any scabbing or flaking fall off naturally.
No makeup on the lips: Do not apply lipstick, lip gloss, or any other cosmetic products for at least 10 days.
Avoid spicy, salty, or acidic foods: These can irritate your lips while healing.
No kissing, pools, saunas, or direct sun exposure during the healing period.
How to heal:
Gently blot your lips with a clean tissue to absorb any lymph fluid for the first few hours.
Clean your lips 2–3 times daily using the splash method (avoid direct shower spray). Splash lukewarm water, apply a gentle fragrance-free cleanser, and rinse!
Pat dry with a clean tissue—do not rub.
Apply a thin layer of the aftercare ointment (like Aquaphor or a recommended balm) several times a day to keep lips moist and prevent cracking.
Healing timeline:
Days 1–3: Lips will appear brighter and fuller. Swelling is norma directly following the appointment.
Days 4–7: Flaking may occur. Color may fade significantly—this is temporary!
Days 8–14: Color will start to reappear and even out.
Week 6–8: Touch-up session time! Your lips will be fully healed and ready for perfecting.
