Brow Baddies

Microblading

Uses fine strokes to mimic the look of individual hairs. Usually this is accompanied by the use of a tattoo machine to shade in addition to the hair strokes to achieve the most natural look.

Good for oily or dry skin types. May not be suitable for mature skin or brows that might have scarring.

(***Most popular)

Nano brows

This technique uses a tattoo machine to create individual hairlike strokes. It is more natural with less shading primarily focusing on the individual hairs.

This technique is best for aged, thinner skin types.

powder brows

This technique uses shading only, no hair strokes, to achieve an ombre effect. This mimics a more “makeup” brow.

Good for oily, dry, or aged/thinner skin.

Does not have blood thinning disorder or take any blood thinning medications

  • 30 Days before:

No filler or injections in or around the area.

    1 week before:

Do not tan or sun bathe, as sun burnt skin cannot be worked on. Please do not get any invasive facials with chemicals, laser treatments, or waxes on the face.

    24 hours before:

No blood thinners (example: Aspirin or Ibuprofen). No alcohol or caffeine as these very much effect the blood as well.

Less bleeding=better results and easier healing.

    Appointment Day:

No caffeine on appointment day! Please come with as little makeup as possible :)

  • When you arrive you will be provided with an initial topical lidocaine cream to numb the area.

Then we will work collaboratively on what look you are going for (natural, fluffy, makeup, etc). Reference pictures are super helpful!

Each service will be mapped out and pre drawn so clients can see and approve design before starting.

A secondary numbing will be used throughout the tattoo process.

The actual tattoo process for brows will typically take from 1.5 hours-2 hours.

  • What to avoid:

    • No sweating (exercise, saunas, hot tubs) for 7–10 days.

    • No makeup, creams, or skincare products besides the approved healing ointment on or near the brow area for two weeks.

    • No direct water pressure, swimming, or sun exposure.

    • No picking, scratching, or rubbing the brows—let any flaking or scabbing fall off naturally.

    How to heal:

    • Wash your brows gently twice a day with a fragrance-free cleanser (like Cetaphil or baby shampoo) and lukewarm water.

    • Pat dry with a clean tissue—do not rub.

    • Apply a very thin layer of the aftercare ointment provided or fragrance free thin lotion after washing. No aquaphor it is too thick!

    • Less is more—don’t over-apply, let her breathe!

    Healing timeline:

    • Days 1–3: Brows may appear darker and more defined.

    • Days 4–7: Scabbing and light flaking are normal. Do not pick.

    • Days 7–10: Color may lighten and look uneven—this is normal! Let her blossom :)

    • Week 6–8: Your color will be coming back, just in time for your touch-up appointment.

    Forever care:

    • Avoid retinol, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, and other exfoliating skincare ingredients near the brow area. These speed up skin cell turnover and will fade your pigment faster.

    • Always apply SPF on your brows when outdoors. Sun exposure can break down pigment, causing it to blur or fade more quickly.

    • Limit use of chemical peels or laser treatments on the face, especially around the brow area.

    • Avoid microdermabrasion or exfoliating treatments directly over your brows.
