My areola restoration work is dedicated to breast cancer survivors who are rebuilding confidence and connection with their bodies after mastectomy and reconstruction. This specialized form of paramedical tattooing uses advanced techniques and soft, natural color blending to create realistic, three-dimensional areolas that honor your healing journey. My goal is to help you feel whole again—on your terms, in your own time.

To ensure every survivor has access to this service, I offer areola restoration on a donation-based model. You’re invited to contribute what you can, but there is never any pressure or expectation. Your healing is the priority, not the cost.In addition,

(Anyone in the community can donate to help cover supplies, studio overhead, and to “pay it forward” for the next woman who may not be able to contribute at all. Your generosity directly helps me keep this a no cost service. Click the button!)

All sessions take place in private rooms within an all-women studio, providing a safe, supportive, and understanding environment. Your privacy, comfort, and emotional well-being matter deeply here, and every appointment is handled with compassion and professionalism.

If you’re ready to take this step—or simply want more information—I’m here to support you through each stage of the process with care and respect.

Before you book

  • Not currently pregnant or breastfeeding

Must be at least 9–12 months post–breast reconstruction (or cleared by surgeon)

All incisions must be fully healed

Must be completely finished with chemotherapy and radiation

No uncontrolled diabetes, autoimmune flare-ups, or conditions that impair wound healing (unless cleared by a physician).

  • Light redness, tenderness, and minimal swelling the first few days is normal

Mild itching or slight flaking is common as the tattoo heals

The tattoo may look lighter or patchy during the healing period.
This is normal — colors typically brighten and even out as healing progresses

  • FIRST 24 HOURS

Remove bandage (if one was applied) after 4–6 hours, unless otherwise directed.

Gently cleanse the area with lukewarm water and mild, fragrance-free soap using clean hands only

Pat dry with a clean paper towel — do not rub

Apply a very thin layer of the recommended healing ointment (such as Aquaphor, or the product provided by your artist)

    FOR TWO WEEKS AFTER

Wash the area once daily with mild, fragrance-free soap

Pat dry — avoid friction and avoid using washcloths or loofahs

Apply a thin layer of ointment to keep the area slightly moisturized but not smothered

Do not over-apply; too much ointment can prevent proper healing
